What makes your business one of the best small businesses in your community?
Loveland Coffee is about community and working to see ours thrive. Through serving socially responsible Specialty Coffee at our Drive-Thru or roastery we aim to encourage each of our valued customers while serving high quality Certified Fair Trade Organic Coffee. We roast our beans in our own in-house roastery in small batches weekly. This allows us to ensure a higher level of quality and freshness to our customers, as well as fair trade value for the farmers that provide us the amazing quality beans. We partner with other business in our community in order to share our values on a deeper systematic level. Loveland Coffee constantly looks for ways to support the community through investing in events and fundraisers that further strengthen our region and it’ citizens. Quality and love can be found in each artisan handcrafted cup we serve every day with convince and love - keeping our community going in their own work with a brighter more delicious outlook on the day!

How has working with a SCORE mentor helped your business?
I have just recently discovered SCORE and all of it’s resources! I have begun meeting with my mentor who has so much experience and knowledge in growing one’s business in our community. He has a lot of insight in regards into expansion which is what I have been working on in moving toward opening my own local community coffee house. I greatly look forward to learning so much more from him and his own experiences!
Please describe the specific ways that your business has been successful and how it will grow in the next year.
Loveland Coffee has steadily grown over the past 5 years in sales and outreach towards our community. While it began with just one employee, we are now able to support four, as our need for such has also expanded. A year and a half ago we, also, opened a local coffee roastery in order to have more quality control with our products. Currently we have some additional open hours there along with educational classes. We are now looking to expand even more within the next year to open a brick and mortar building in order to bring our community even closer together by providing a comfortable space that guest can linger together over quality coffee and hospitable service.
