What makes your business one of the best small businesses in your community?

We are the best and leading pet care service provider in the city. In addition, we are the leading company in raising money and volunteering for all the local pet shelters. We help people and their pets develop special bonds between them. We help pets lead a healthy and balanced life. We educate pet owners to help their pet thrive and live a happy life. Long term, this will alleviate pets from going into our local shelters. With our help, pets and owners will have a better line of communication between them helping them live a long and prosperous life together in harmony. We are also the only pet service company in the city that offers training, grooming, dog walking/ pet sitting and specialized overnight care... all in one stop.

The following responses will be considered in judging for a SCORE Award.

How has working with a SCORE mentor helped your business?

I feel very helped and guided by Score's resources. Even if some information is a refresher, it gives me extra assurance and confidence that I'm doing things correct and sends me in a positive direction. I find the webinars very useful as I can listen on the go. Having a mentor has added so much value. I'm very grateful and appreciative of Score.

Please describe the specific ways that your business has been successful and how it will grow in the next year.

I started with Score's 4 week business course at the Chamber. I've taken many workshops, webinars and other wealth of resources that Score offers. Score has provided me with additional marketing strategies that have worked and been very valuable. Offering a high quality service at a great price has been key and has paid off as word of mouth has been the main source of growth. We've out grown our existing business model and now looking to expand into a facility. We'd like to eventually add on a non-profit chapter at some point.
