InspiraWork transforms companies into communities by bringing leaders together to use their diverse strengths, reimagine a better future, and collaboratively solve problems to move business forward.
The following responses will be considered in judging for a SCORE Award.
How has working with a SCORE mentor helped your business?
We have been working with our SCORE mentors, Nancy Bukovina and Raj Mehta, since September 2016. As first-time business owners, we needed guidance on how to develop a business plan and market our services. Nancy and Raj coached us to think about our value proposition, sharpened our business plan, and shared strategies on how to describe and price our services. As we grew, they challenged our thinking and educated us on how to conduct year-end budget reviews, sales forecasting, and “hit rate” analyses.
Because they believe in us and care about our success, they find ways to help us leverage our strengths and spirit. Every time we meet with them, we emerge with greater confidence, energy and optimism to achieve our vision for the future.
Please describe the specific ways that your business has been successful and how it will grow in the next year.
InspiraWork has impacted the leadership development of more than 2,700 people. Since April 2016, our women-owned business has helped workers embrace robots and intelligent automation; created a platform for employees to share their voice; gave leaders the insight to make better decisions; and brought people together to break down silos, forge common ground, and use their diverse strengths to solve problems.
Our commitment to leader development extends beyond our clients. We also design pro bono programs that accelerate leader development of youth and advance diversity and inclusion.
Due to repeat clients, referrals, and a pipeline of active prospects, we have been profitable and are on track to make over $1 million of revenue in 2019.
