Business Description

Family owned thrift store.

What makes your business one of the best small businesses in your community?

Our business is one of the best small businesses in our community because of our exceptional customer service and dedication to giving back to our community. We strive to set a new, higher standard in our industry. Over the course of 2017, we gave over $5000 in charitable contributions to our community and those in need. From our haunted house -which benefited ASPEN, to our school supply giveaway -which provided full supplies to over 20 families, we are always looking for ways to get people in our fantastic, small town involved in activities while allowing them to give back to the town we all love.

The following responses will be considered in judging for a SCORE Award.

How has working with a SCORE mentor helped your business?

Working with SCORE has helped give me massive amounts of confidence as a business owner. I feel that when we started out, people were skeptical of our business capabilities because we hadn't previously owned a business and we are so young (in comparison to the average business owner here). SCORE has given me a neutral, non-judgmental place to discuss ideas and ask for advice. It has been an invaluable service to us.

Please describe the specific ways that your business has been successful and how it will grow in the next year.

Our business has really made itself known in our community over the past year. We have become the go to place for people searching for quality items at a price they can afford. We are known for our community activities and for how much we give back to our town. We hope to grow into other business adventures in this coming year.
