What one unique aspect of your business will make you succeed over the next year?
The one unique aspect of Stars Above Hawaii that will make us successful over the next year is the human thirst for understanding our place in the universe. People of all cultures from all over the world come to Stars Above Hawaii to touch the heavens above while searching for the meaning of life and all there is. Stars Above Hawaii is the only professional star show in Hawaii that is owned and managed by an astronomer who has the ability to combine Carl Sagan and Joseph Campbell into a mind blowing experience, as each star explorer guest is surrounded by stars that shine like diamonds, as they see the unseen as they have never seen it before.
How does your business make a positive impact on the community?
Stars Above Hawaii is the most charitable company in ALL Hawaii in terms of charitable giving to the community compared to sale revenues. We also provide NASA Ambassador talks to the local schools and nonprofits as well, helping educate all people on the the reality we live in from an astronomy perspective - a yoga for the mind. Our charitable offerings are highlighted on the StarsAboveHawaii website.
What would you do with a $1,000 Sam’s Club gift card, training, and help from a SCORE mentor to grow your business?
With the Sam's Club gift card, training, and SCORE mentor help, to grow the business, I would take these offerings and reinvest them into the community through education and technology, thereby enriching the lives of those in need, and thereby enhancing the name brand of Stars Above Hawaii, which in the long run will pay itself back through increased earnings and longevity for the business.
